VOLUNTEER

Donations of time and talent are what makes this event so special. Our entertainment crew often remarks that Bear River High School is one of the few schools left that has a dedicated team of parents, friends, vendors, alumni, and extended family working together to produce Grad Night, instead of hiring an agency to handle it. Bear River is even more special, because a Disneyland Trip is ALSO available. Our students are valued, nurtured, and loved.

There are so many options for volunteers: planning, social media/promotion, treasury reporting, Board Positions, envelope stuffers, committee chairs, setup, teardown, decorating, Memory Lane poster collection and setup, food organization, casino table dealers, game monitors... There really IS something for everyone. Choose as much time and involvement as you prefer. Many hands make for light work. Even if you can’t attend planning meetings via Zoom, sign up for our email updates, or communicate ideas, talents, or availability with us directly by emailing [email protected]. We value your input.

Parents, other family members, staff, students, and community volunteers are all welcome to participate in making BRHS Safe and Sober Grad Night a success, so feel free to share the sign-up link. We promise it will be a worthwhile event and a great evening to remember.

FUNDRAISERS

Direct Fundraising

Parents, other family members, staff, students, and community volunteers are all welcome to participate in making BRHS Safe and Sober Grad Night a success. Fundraising letters are mailed out around January of each year. The letters provide details on the way BRHS Safe and Sober Grad Night can express our gratitude for your generous donation of any amount. This may include mention on our website, on the school sign, on banners, electronic signs, or even on the commemorative T-shirt given to each grad and volunteer. It's a great way to get your name out there! You're always welcome to submit donations via Venmo, too.

A limited number of "Gold Level" sponsorships are available each year, given on a first-come, first-served basis. Donors may put a single-color logo on the back of the commemorative T-shirts to make your business stand out even more! For more information, contact us at (530) 575-7812, or [email protected].

Event Fundraising

We may hold restaurant fundraisers like Trailblazer Pizza in Alta Sierra, or Panda Express. Stay tuned for details about upcoming fundraising events, and encourage your friends and family to help fund Grad Night, and take a break from cooking dinner.
